About our yoga

True yoga is not a wellness activity; it’s a transformative journey that reconnects you with your essence. While it naturally enhances flexibility, strength and relaxation, its real power lies in guiding you toward inner clarity, empowering you to live an authentic and fulfilling life. Our yoga is based on the most significant ancient yogic scriptures and the wisdom of teachers who have passed down these traditions with integrity and authenticity.

Breathing exercises play a central role in Kundalini Yoga. They not only enhance physical and mental health, but also foster a deeper spiritual connection. Each asana is performed with mindfulness and conscious breathing. Kriya Yoga is the practice that awakens the universal power of action, Kriyashakti. In Kundalini Yoga, kriyas combine asanas, breathing techniques, mantras, and meditation.

Preparation

  • Yoga is easier with a light stomach. The yogic scriptures recommend that the body should be light and unburdened for the practice. It’s best not to eat anything at least two hours before a session, or to have just a small snack. It is not recommended to drink fluids right before or during the practice.
  • Wear comfortable, rather form-fitting clothing. This will make it easier to check your posture.
  • Please come with clean feet, as yoga is practiced barefoot.
  • Let me know in advance if you have any specific (physical) limitations.
  • It’s best to arrive about 15 minutes before the session starts. This gives you enough time to prepare and ask any questions you may have.
