Music and nature have always been my inspiration and passion. Growing up near Freiburg, I spent most of my childhood in the forest.
Two decades later, my studies in architecture brought me to Rio de Janeiro. During a retreat in the rainforest, the magic of music led me to the guitar.
Years later, while living in Switzerland and working internationally as an SAP consultant, I began dreaming of a place where music could flow freely—a space to create and share, embraced only by the forest.
That dream became a reality in 2021 when I discovered Steinweiden.
Renovating the space has been a grand adventure, and the event room was our first project. The vision was to create a crystal of healing energy—a sound temple, the heart of Steinweiden, to share this space with others.
Whether through sound healing, singing, yoga, meditation, dancing, or other transformative practices—feel warmly invited to celebrate the beauty of life!

I was born in the Netherlands and worked as an international corporate lawyer for around 20 years.
Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to questions that mattered to me personally: What is truly important to me? What shapes the way I live and make decisions? And who am I beyond the ideas I have about myself?
Exploring these questions profoundly changed the direction of my own life. I completed extensive training in Coaching and Yoga, and began accompanying others through their own processes of growth and change.
One of the boldest decisions I eventually made was to buy Steinweiden together with Andy and develop it into a retreat centre. We wanted to create a place where people could step away from their everyday lives for a few days, slow down and reconnect with what truly matters to them.
Today, many different sides of me come together at Steinweiden. I facilitate our own retreats, take care of many of the organisational aspects of running the centre – and I am just as happy in the kitchen. I love creating an environment in which our guests feel genuinely welcome and cared for.
For me, all of this belongs together: inner work, yoga, good food, nature, and a place where we can gain a clearer sense of what truly matters. This is the kind of space I create at Steinweiden together with Andy.
