How I work with people
My work is not simply about understanding why we think, feel and act the way we do. What interests me most is what changes when we become directly aware of our habitual patterns, experience new perspectives and discover that other responses and choices are possible.
I combine psychological and systemic approaches with nondual awareness work and experiential practices.
This is not about optimising yourself or finding out how you should live your life. I want to create a space in which you can see yourself more clearly, discover your own answers and directly experience new possibilities.
Not just understanding, but experiencing
We can know a great deal about ourselves and still find ourselves responding in similar ways in certain situations.
That is why my work does not stop at conversation and intellectual understanding. We also include what is showing up here and now: thoughts and feelings, bodily sensations, inner images, impulses and reactions.
In this way, familiar patterns can become directly tangible. At the same time, we can explore what happens when you do not automatically follow them – and experiment with other possibilities in your own experience.
What shapes my work
My main coaching training, Zijnscoaching, combines psychological approaches with applied nondual wisdom. It has deeply shaped my approach as a coach: coaching goes beyond methods, skills and knowledge. The way a coach meets another person – the presence and attitude they bring to that encounter – matters too.
My work is also informed by my training in Intuitive Systemic Constellations and Logosynthesis®, as well as by many years of yoga and awareness practice.
Together, these different approaches have shaped a way of working that explores our experience on several levels.
Exploring patterns and self-images
Together, we look at what is present for you: recurring situations, thoughts, feelings, beliefs or ideas about how you should be – or must not be.
The aim is not to label anything about you as wrong. Instead, we explore what lies behind a familiar reaction – and what may not yet have been expressed or allowed.
Alongside familiar patterns, this can reveal qualities and possibilities that have had little room in your life until now.
Seeing the wider context
Some issues become clearer when we look not only at ourselves, but also at the relationships and systems we are part of.
Systemic work can help us explore roles, relationships and dynamics from a different perspective and make them directly perceptible and experiential.
Experiencing new possibilities
Recognising a new possibility is not the same as actually experiencing it.
Part of the work can therefore involve directly trying out a different way of being or responding: sensing and expressing a boundary, taking up more space, letting go of control, allowing vulnerability, or meeting a situation differently than you usually would.
The aim is not simply to replace an old pattern or belief with a new one. It is to experience a wider range of possibilities and become less bound to automatic ways of responding.
Deepening awareness
The work can also go a step further.
Thoughts, feelings and self-images can seem so self-evident that we identify with them: This is who I am. This is how the situation is. This is how other people are.
In awareness work, we bring our attention to what is directly present now. Thoughts appear. Feelings appear. Bodily sensations appear. Even the story we tell about ourselves appears.
And this opens up a different question:
What is aware of all of this?
This is not intended as a philosophical question. It is an invitation to explore directly whether we are actually limited to what we think, feel and believe about ourselves.
My approach as a coach
The method is not at the centre of my work. The person is – and what is showing up here and now.
I listen, ask questions and pay attention to where something essential begins to emerge. I meet you with presence and openness.
Not everything needs to be solved, explained or changed immediately. Sometimes this itself creates the space to see something more clearly, experience it differently – and meet life with greater awareness.
If you would like to continue after a retreat
A retreat can open up new insights and experiences – and sometimes there is a wish to continue exploring a particular theme afterwards or to integrate what you have experienced more deeply into everyday life.
If you would like further personal support after your retreat, you can also continue working with me individually.

How others have experienced working with me
“There was one session with you that literally changed my life!!! I finally have the stability I had been longing for for years, because I now consciously choose adulthood instead of childish instant gratification and adventure. And that really comes from that one session with you in which we explored this theme.”

“Fausta’s empathetic and clear presence made me feel not only understood and deeply seen throughout our time working together, but also strengthened and guided on my path of personal development.”
